What are Domino Templates?
Domino templates (also known as domino combs, rulers, or guides) are tools used by many domino builders to aid in setting up a line of toppling dominoes. They perform the following functions:
- Allow the user to set up a line of dominoes in about half the time it takes to set up the same number of dominoes by hand.
- Prevent accidental falls while setting up dominoes (the templates actually support each domino as it is being added so that it cannot tip over while in the grooves).
- Enable setting up perfectly-straight lines of dominoes with equal spacing between each domino.
Everyone Needs At Least One
Enthusiasts use domino templates because they assist in creating professional-looking setups that can be created very quickly. Beginners love them because they reduce frustration due to accidental falls, and make setting up dominoes much easier. Spend less time building and more time toppling by joining multiple templates together!
Brand Compatibility
Please note that our templates are specifically designed for use with Lamping dominoes only, and have not been tested with any other domino brand.
Choose Your Colors!
When you purchase a 3-pack, you can choose your template colors. Select from your color from the dropdown list, or choose Assorted for a mix of colors. If you order a single template or a 2-pack, your template(s) will be automatically selected from our available colors when your order is fulfilled.
Pro Tip: Wood Hurts!
Using wood or metal templates can leave scratches on your dominoes after repeated use. Our Lamping-brand templates are made out of the same plastic as our dominoes, so they will never get hurt. |
